Surprise test of life

Have you ever been annoyed with a stranger who broke the queue in an airport security check?

Ever heard parents say," son/ daughter don't talk to strangers"

Have you ever annoyed with the passenger's snoring in a train?

Ever got trust rated after reading a newspaper and said " This world is a bad place" Let me tell you a story.

26th July 2021, After we got my father's biopsy report, my mother cried and hugged me as she told me that he has cancer. No one prepares you for such situations, and this wasn't even there in the syllabus of life. this was directly a surprise exam, for which I hadn't got the time to prepare so quickly we dialed numbers to doctors and sent them reports and the conclusion was a surgery was needed as soon as possible. Leave for Delhi tomorrow itself one doctor suggested.

Tickets were booked and we left. The appointment was booked for the next day and we thought he could rest for a day, It was all well planned. Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot. Due to bad weather, kindly keep your seat belt on, stay in your seat and not use the washroom. The flight had just taken off from Lucknow to Delhi, While turbulence had begun. My parents were sitting in the front row, and I on the third.

I Am very scared of turbulence so I pulled out my earphones and I was about to plug them when I glanced at my father. His eyes were swelled and I rushed I realized he had fainted, his hands were bent and face seemed white. As if someone had removed all the blood from his body. Surprise exam was okay, but such a difficult paper! Amidst the sky, without any network without any hospital, What would we do? When we're helpless is when our faith is the most tested.

My mom started praying and I discovered my faith, There was a lot of turbulence, my mother continued to pray and I Stood in aisle, cold. Now what will happen? And just then the air hostess screamed,' is there a doctor on this flight?' and there wasn't just one, but 2 of them. Both of them came running and began his treatment. 40 miniates of the journey was left and I kept thinking about is the world is really that bad...

Like a magical moment, The entire flight came together everyone from the front row went behind to random seats, one left their seat for my mother, while one prayed with her. An aunty looked at me gestured about how it's all going to be fine. one lady rushed and handed her watch saying it measures BP. Another passenger took out their cabin bag to make a pillow him.

The air hostess left everything and arranged blanket and oxygen masks and not a single passenger asked for something from the staff, not even water. Pilot mid air called for an ambulance and we were informed that as soon as we waiting. My dad was conscious but his pulse rate was vert low. You all must know how once we land, everyone rushes out of their seats and stands.  In the aisle despite all the announcements but in this flight, nothing as such happened. everyone waited for 20 minute for ambulance to arrive. And for us to leave first.

My mother and I were waiting at baggage belt when an unknow uncle asked us," Are you both fine?" This is my number, Please call me if there is any issue. And don't worry, I have prayed for him, nothing will happen. That day we admitted dad in emergency word and two days later was his surgery. That's another story but now he is fine.

You never know when strangers become your family. And life never takes an exam in fact when you think it does, You later know it was your biggest lesson. I know the internet is filled with stories about how a stranger did something very wrong. there are many hopeless people.

This is why I'm sharing this story so that whenever someone says how bad this world is, You have this story with you to tell them, That it isn't that bad.

"Life always about the surprise tests! And the gifts worth the way you deal with it"
